Studied Psychology at Nottingham University before training at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Performer’s Prize & Principal’s Award for Drama)

SARAH BAWLER (Chilli Bean)
Training: Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, cumulating with her Masters in Drama at USW.
Theatre work includes Agatha in Guys and Dolls (directed by Greg Ashton), Bottom in Midsummer Nights Dream (directed by Paul Clements), Jack & the Beans Talk & other Sheep Tales (Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival), Toby Belch in Twelfth Night (directed by David Mercatali), Jack’s Mother in Into The Woods (directed by Richard Tunley), Flip Flop the Flea in Rumpelstiltskin and Trunchbucket in City of the Unexpected with National Theatre Wales. She has also worked with Arts Active in several productions at St Davids Hall and once with Brian Blessed.

As a theatre practitioner Sarah currently makes up one half of www.pagetostage.co.uk, and has worked extensively with young people all over South Wales leading workshops and creating work with children and teenagers. She collaborates with Everyman Youth Theatre to create a variety of work including comedy improvisation, theatre for one and most recently Shakespeare productions including Henry V, Comedy of Errors and Romeo and Juliet which toured to the Willow Globe. Next Spring they will be participating in NT Connections with a new piece of writing, after gaining the opportunity to perform at the NT Dorfman Theatre with the incredible intergenerational play called Superglue.
Sarah is absolutely delighted to be working with Greg again on The Supersheep Chronicles where she has been fortunate to perform as Suzy Jo, Rose Red, and now again as Chilli Bean.

JJ BENNETT (Jack)
Training: Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Leverhulme Trust Arts Scholarship)
JJ is a recent graduate of the first BA Honours Musical Theatre course of Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He’s had the privilege of originating roles in the new musical Luna the Musical which has been performed at the Other Palace Theatre and Wales Millennium Centre.

Hugo has enjoyed a successful career in Theatre, including international tours, regional theatre and London’s West End, and co-founded touring Burlesque theatre company “Brass Monkey Burlesque”, for which he is Master of Ceremonies.

ELLE DANCE (Gwen the White Fairy / Jelly Bean)
Most recent Elle played Rosalie Mullins in School of Rock at the New Theatre, Cardiff and Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls at the Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival
Elle is delighted to be making her debut into the world of Sheep Chronicles with the cast of Jack and the Beans Talk
With over 15 years of dance and vocal training, Elle has had the opportunity to perform at some of the most prestigious theatres in the UK, including; The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre and Sadlers Wells. In the past she has worked with the likes of National Dance Company Wales, Birmingham Royal Ballet and various West End choreographers and directors.
Elle is currently Musical Director at Bridgend Youth Theatre and head of Musical Theatre at GC Dance Company.

KATIE FINCH (Jill / Runner Bean)
Katie trained at Bird College & Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance
She is thrilled to be returning to the Sheep Chronicles to play Jill, having played Suzy Jo last year across South Wales and also at the Brighton Fringe Festival (2017) in Sleeping Beauty.
She plays Suzy Jo in The Sheep Chronicles audiobooks Sleeping Beauty & the Ewe’s Duty, Jack & the Beans Talk, King Ram & the Snow Baby, and Snow White & the Seventh Sheep.
Other credits include: Florence in Flipper’s Perfect Present (Gravesend & Sevenoaks), Miss Morris/other roles in A Family Affair tour of Austria.

SHARON JAMES (Big Red)
Currently Principal of Cardiff and Vale College, Sharon has three decades of experience working in both education and the creative industries.
Recent theatre work includes Under Milk Wood (directed by Marilyn le Conte), Fly Me to The Moon (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), and Jack & the Beans Talk & other Sheep Tales (Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival). Her long standing relationship with Lesley Ross has seen her create several characters written specifically for her, most notably The Shadow from the Barry the Penguin series, Billie in Snow White and the Seventh Sheep, and the female lead in the Offie Nominated Diva Drag. She will record the part of the Shadow later this year alongside Hayden Oakley’s Barry.

JADE JOHNSON (Voice of Baby Bean)
Jade Johnson has worked as performer both on screen and stage. She also produces The Taylor Swift Cabaret.

JANINE PARDO (Moo Moo Sheep / Voice of Fishwife Sally)
Janine completed her training, at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, with a Masters in Performance, Musical Theatre.
Most recently, Janine has been working on voiceovers for the Xbox computer game Fable (Molinaire) and TV Animation Go Buster (Moonbug Entertainment). She has also enjoyed performing in the latest Music Video for Elephant Kind (Richard Hall/Riff Raff Films), playing Renata in the film, Code of Conduct (Edge Picture Company), El Cruzcampodor for a TV commercial by Ogilvy and an Amazon TV commercial in Italy.

HOLLY THOMPSON (Urbella the Spider)
Training: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and The Birmingham School of Acting
Holly is thrilled to be joining the cast of Jack & the Beans Talk. This is her second foray into the world of The Sheep Chronicles, having previously played Victoria Red in Snow White and the Seventh Sheep whilst still at college. Other roles while training included Barbara in Major Barbara and Lisa the Homeless Lady in A New Brain
With director Greg Ashton she played Mimi in Guys & Dolls and Morticia in The Addams Family, both at the Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival
Holly joined touring company Wize Productions last autumn playing Winnie Sanderson in Pocus Hocus and Belle in pantomime favourite Beauty and the Beast. She will be returning this Christmas in Cinderella.
